THE CONNECTION TRANSITION (AGES 9-12)

This is the stage where things don’t break all at once, but they don’t feel the same anymore.

Your child starts asking more questions. Not just “what to do”… but “why”.

You may notice:

  • They share less, or only on their terms

  • They want more space and privacy

  • They question rules more often

  • Conversations feel shorter, or harder to hold

And inside, it can feel like:

  • You’re slowly losing the closeness you once had

  • What used to work… no longer works the same way

  • You’re unsure when to guide and when to step back

This is not disconnection. This is a transition. At this age, your child is moving from following…to thinking for themselves

THIS IS WHERE WE BEGIN

  • Not by giving you more advice.

  • Not by trying to correct your child’s behavior from the outside.

  • And not by offering quick fixes that don’t hold in real life.

I AM HERE FOR YOU

Two women having a discussion at a wooden table near a window. One woman with dark hair is facing away, while the other woman with shoulder-length black hair and a navy blazer is smiling, taking notes with a blue pen. The table has a laptop, notebook, and documents. The room has posters and pictures on the wall, a shelf with books, and a vase with dried flowers.

If this resonates, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

60 minutes (in-person or online) to understand what’s really happening and see what could shift from here.

This is a relaxed, no-pressure space, simply an opportunity for us to connect and see if we are the right fit.

You’re welcome to reach out in whatever way feels easiest for you, and I’ll personally get back to you within 24 hours
